Change Password

Where

Settings → Security in the dashboard, under Change password.

What you need

• Your current password.
• A new password meeting the same rule as sign-up: at least 12 characters, with a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, and a digit.
• One more proof that it’s really you (a step-up check):
  • If you already have two-factor authentication turned on, that’s a 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
  • If you don’t, Baiyar emails you a one-time code instead — you’ll need your current password again just to request it.

Note

This step-up requirement is why changing your password always needs your current one, even though you might expect “forgot password” logic to skip it — this flow is for someone who already knows their password and simply wants a new one.

Steps

1. Enter your current password, new password, and confirm it.
2. Provide the step-up code (from your authenticator app, or the one emailed to you).
3. Submit. This signs you out of every other session — including other devices and browsers — and starts a fresh one for you here.

If you don’t have your current password

This flow can’t help you — it’s for changing a password you still know. Use Forgot password on the login page instead.
